September 26th - 27th The Flying Squad were guests at 31st Internationale Vliegerfestival

The 31st Internationale Vliegerfestival 2009 Scheveningen

This is the second year of the re-instated festival and along with The Flying Squad over 250 kite fliers were in attendance from the Netherlands , France , Belgium , Bali, Curacao , Germany , Italy , Israel , Japan , Australia & New Zealand.  Commentary at the event was provided in English by Paul Reynolds and in Dutch by Arjan van der Ster.

This impressively organised festival is on the beautiful beach at Scheveningen and was blessed with glorious weather if rather too gentle winds.  The kite fliers in attendance worked hard all weekend to ensure a great show was put on for the huge crowds that gathered both days.
