Stephen Hoath of The Flying Squad in Kuwait

Last December Stephen from the team was invited to Kuwait City to help the Al Farsi kite
team develop their team flying skills.

The Al-Farsi team is probably best known for the worlds largest kite
http://www.tug.com/blog/Three_Flags/ but they fly anything and everything and do it all with a
passion for life that is infectious. The team already had a set of Blades and Furies and a
mixture of Revolution kites and had been experimenting with team flying so the job was half
done already.

The Kuwaitis worked hard at team flying and quickly pushed their skill levels up several
levels. Lines were cut and spliced back together again, kites were broken and fixed again
and all the time the smiles and laughter were in evidence. Watch out for these guys in the
years to come, they don’t do anything by halves and have a zest for kiting that is an
inspiration to the rest of us.
