June 12h - 13thThe Flying Squad at Blackheath Kite and Bike Festival, London. England

The Flying Squad have been attending every Kite and Bike Festival,this year the weather was great and there were some great flyers in attendance. It's The Decorators home festival so always worth a visit.

A great welcome from Andy King on the PA as MC, Tony TC Cartwright again doing his usual outstanding job as field director and getting all the team to appear on time, well done TC!

Simon was the leader for the weekend, supported by Gary, Hezz.,Geoff, Luca ,Ian & Steve all flew routines, from a beautiful 6 person Ballet, with Luca & Ian swapping places over the two days. They also wowed the huge crowds with a dramatic display using huge stacks of kites (5 kites plus 20 metres long tails) these were flown by Geoff, Gary, Simon and lead by Steve Matchett

Having Simon, Gary & Steve each giving a different direct to the style of flying gave the team a new dimension, and on ewe hope to repeat at other events. Always goo to have a fresh set of ideas !
